Adoption conditions

Romanian dogs being for the most part stray dogs having had bad experiences with humans, not to mention the total change of life after a long and physically and psychologically tiring repatriation, and following all these Romanians lost in the various associations and this regularly, we ask people in a garden house or garden apartment, to have their garden fenced (no sheep fence placed on the ground because dogs can scratch under it or push it because it is too light) to a minimum 1.50m for small dogs and if possible a minimum of 1.80m for older ones so as not to live on the alert all your life. There are simple solutions for people in rentals, ask us for advice. We will also ask you to keep them attached with a harness + a collar + 2 leashes or leash, and to wear a medal, because you will have to teach them to walk attached for the first time, while they become familiar with walking on a leash. , but also to all these new surrounding noises, and tame them.

The adoption procedure will be carried out in several stages:

1) You must first complete the FORM adoption either DIRECTLY ONLINE . be the DOWNLOAD and send it back once completed, or send it back to the mailbox refuge.d.alina.et.anda@gmail.com .

This questionnaire is the first step in your process of welcoming or adopting an animal covered by the association. It is in no way intended to spy on you, on the contrary, it will allow us to make sure that the animal you want to welcome or adopt corresponds to your lifestyle .

2) This questionnaire will be followed by a telephone interview made by myself or another member of our association, so that we can discuss with you in person your reception or adoption project, and that we can send you essential information on our little ones.

3) Finally, the last step will be the visit to your home . Do not hesitate to prepare your questions before this one!

An answer will then be communicated to you as soon as possible.

We invite you to keep in mind that to repatriate a dog from Romania we are subject to health, administrative and logistical constraints and that the repatriation times may vary.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

The adoption contract as well as an advice sheet to follow, will be sent to you by email by the association of Alina and Anda (watch your SPAMS) when the adoption fees have been paid. you will need to send it back signed. The costs are to be paid by bank transfer or paypal from the association "suflete dragi" (Alina and Anda refuge) only a few days (3 or 4 days) before the departure of the truck because Alina must pay the carrier the day before or the 'before eve.

Dogs arriving from Romania are microchipped, vaccinated (initial vaccine + booster for the polyvalent vaccine, rabies vaccine, kennel cough vaccine), sterilized as far as possible, have a European passport which will be given to you on arrival with your loulou with a document to certify his registration with the European TRACE (travel permit). All repatriations are declared to the European organization TRACES which regulates animal movements within Europe.

Our animals reserved for adoption arrive by truck, it makes several stops: The first is near Metz (departure 57), then Charleville-Mézières (departure 08) near Belgium, then a stop in the Paris region (departure 91), then according to the number of loulous: in the department 03 then Lyon (departure 69). Although we sometimes have solutions to bring the dog you are expecting from your home closer (other families who are also expecting their dog and could bring you closer to you if they are in your area or passing by), this service cannot in any way this case be required by the adopter, who must on the contrary seek solutions on his side to recover the dog where it arrives.

In the event of carpooling, the costs cannot be borne by the association. We will remain at your disposal to help you find solutions to pick up your dog and we will search on our side within the limits of our possibilities, but the recovery of the dog is essentially your responsibility.

It is imperative, from the first week following the arrival of the dog, to register his chip at the I-CAD which is the French national canine file, in your name, for Belgians it is the DOG ID. Go to your vet with the animal's passport and adoption contract. This formality is extremely important. To do this, you will need to consult your veterinarian who will fill out a paper dedicated to this recording. The paper must be returned to the address indicated at the top of it, accompanied by a check for € 9.20 (at your expense) and photocopies of the entire passport. Thank you in advance !
